Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms apply to the BiteTalk app, operated by Shahriar Azad. BiteTalk is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with these additional terms. If they conflict, the Apple EULA controls.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use BiteTalk.
2. Not medical advice
BiteTalk is a food tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Calorie and nutrient values are estimates shown with a range and may differ from the actual food you ate. Consult a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or have a history of eating concerns.
3. Subscriptions
- BiteTalk Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: yearly (with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or monthly. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Without a subscription, BiteTalk includes a limited number of voice logs per day.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
4. Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse BiteTalk: no reverse engineering, automated scraping, attempts to access other users’ data, or using the service to break the law.
6. Your content
You own the food logs and other content you create. You give us permission to process it only to provide and improve BiteTalk, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep BiteTalk available and accurate, but it is provided “as is.” We may update features, and we may update these terms; we’ll notify you in the app of meaningful changes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BiteTalk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on estimates shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
